Welcome and Introduction

Keynote – «Why don’t they do what I want? Five strategies to influence user behaviour»

Every author has experienced this situation. Users don’t do what they are supposed to do, leading to all sorts of problems like support requests, unused features, missed opportunities, etc. In this keynote we will find out some of the reasons why users act that way, and we’ll also look at five ways how to influence user behavior.

Wolfgang Rathert is entrepreneur, Game Designer, lecturer. As an expert in the field of Business Gamification he has inspired many with his knowledge and insights with numerous keynotes, workshops, and trainings. As “Chief Engagement Officer” he is passionate about unlocking the power of motivation, engagement, and creativity.

Game Analysis Workshop

Armed with the knowledge from Wolfgang’s keynote, we will dive deeper into the topic by examining a couple of games. How do they use these theories, and get their players to behave as expected? We will also look at how these concepts could be leveraged with GRAVITY, unlocking new possibilities for engagement and motivation.
